As the Allied forces approach Paris in August 1944, German Colonel von Waldheim is driven by desperation and a desire for cultural dominance to spirit away France's most precious art treasures to Germany. His mission: to commandeer a prized collection of masterpieces from the Louvre Museum and transport them safely across enemy lines.
